
Thomas A. Jacks was born on July 8, 1942 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was the only child of Curtis and Arlene Jacks and grew up going to schools in Missouri and Kansas. He graduated from Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, KS where he met and later married his wife Dorothy in August of 1961. He retired as Police Sergeant from Pittsburg State University in 2001. They have two children, Mark of Pittsburg and Brian of Santa Fe, New Mexico. They have five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
